Working closely with senior stakeholders, risk peers, legal counsel and external advisors and auditors, the Compliance Advisor will oversee, and where appropriate, develop the compliance monitoring framework for Global Payments Australia and New Zealand.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will oversee the application and management of AML/CTF as well as manage, review and oversee our license management framework. Along with compliance reporting, a major focus will be on identifying potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk, and subsequently developing/implementing corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues. To be successful in the position you will actively promote a strong compliance and risk culture throughout our agile organisation.
The right candidate for this role will be an experienced compliance professional with proven experience in the financial services industry who possesses relevant tertiary qualifications. Experienced in AML/CFT management, you will bring with you a strong understanding of relevant financial services regulators and requirements.
